Sodexo Philippines Strengthens Sustainability Commitment with Tree-Planting Drive in Bulacan

MANILA, Philippines – Sodexo Philippines continues to demonstrate its commitment to environmental stewardship through hands-on initiatives, including a recent tree-planting activity in Sibul, San Miguel, Bulacan, in partnership with the GreenEarth Heritage Foundation Inc. The initiative is part of the company’s broader farm-to-fork and sustainability agenda, which integrates responsible sourcing, partnerships with local farmers, and plastic waste reduction efforts.

Baltazar Lajom II, Supply Director for Sodexo Philippines and Vietnam, was among the participants, emphasizing that sustainability at Sodexo is “not just a department but a way of life.” He shared how the activity reflects his personal values as well as the company’s mission.

Sodexo Philippines has long championed sustainability through programs that strengthen the agricultural sector, reduce environmental impact, and promote local sourcing. The Bulacan tree-planting drive adds to these efforts, symbolizing the company’s commitment to tangible action in building a greener future for communities it serves.

By collaborating with organizations like GreenEarth Heritage Foundation, Sodexo continues to show that sustainability is not a one-time initiative but an ongoing commitment to protecting the planet for future generations.
