Sodexo brings love of food to the Capitol Medical Center
June 20, 2019
Sodexo, world leader of Quality of Life Services, has signed a new food services partnership with the Capitol Medical Center (CMC). Services began 16 June 2019.
Sodexo’s three-year food services contract will cover in-patient dining and cafeteria services. CMC has looked at our strong and valuable partnership with other healthcare clients. From performing their food services in-house, they placed their full trust in Sodexo to elevate dining experience in the cafeteria for their employees, guests, and outpatients; and to revamp their current kitchen to keep up with the ongoing modernization of the facilities in the hospital.
Sodexo’s love for food will transform the food services at CMC through providing an enjoyable, safe, healthy and nutritious meals to its patients, doctors, staff, and constituents. The company will also champion sustainability through promoting use of reusable takeaway containers for its cafeteria users, responsible sourcing through our supply chain, HSE-compliant processes in all levels of delivery, and ZERO single use plastic bags, straws, stirrers on site.
CMC is a Mount-Grace partner Hospital. It has 300 beds and is accredited as a Center for Excellence by the Philippine Health Insurance Corp.
Huw Jones, Operations Director - Healthcare, said:
"A huge part of our win is that we have always had good partnerships with our healthcare partners. This, coupled with our thoughtful dining options, well-designed kitchen spaces and dining area, and compliance to uphold our global and local HSE polices, has translated well to the client. We are happy to work with CMC and look forward to a meaningful and engaging partnership.”
