Sodexo Philippines Recognized with DE&I Award for SheWorks Program
Sodexo Philippines has been honored by the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Philippines with the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) Award – Project Category for its flagship women empowerment initiative, SheWorks.
More than an award, this recognition highlights the meaningful impact of SheWorks in transforming the lives of women—especially those from vulnerable backgrounds. Through the program, participants gain essential skills, build confidence, and access opportunities for sustainable employment, enabling them to support their families and actively contribute to their communities.
Developed in partnership with Life Project 4 Youth, SheWorks creates inclusive pathways to employment by providing training, employability support, and long-term career opportunities. The initiative reflects Sodexo Philippines’ strong commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce, grounded in the belief that empowering women creates a ripple effect that benefits entire communities.
Sodexo Philippines extends its sincere appreciation to its clients and partners for their continued trust and collaboration, as well as to the CCIF DE&I Committee for recognizing SheWorks as a program that exemplifies the power of partnership, purpose, and people-centered impact.
Through SheWorks and its broader inclusion initiatives, Sodexo Philippines continues to build workplaces where women are empowered to thrive—helping shape a more inclusive and equitable tomorrow.
The award was received by Maria Krisanta Zara, Human Resources Director of Sodexo Philippines, during the Le Prix Soirée hosted by CCIF at Manila House Private Club.
While SheWorks is at the heart of this recognition, it forms part of Sodexo Philippines’ broader DE&I efforts. The organization continues to advance inclusion through partnerships such as Bigay Buhay Multipurpose Cooperative, which promotes sustainable livelihood opportunities for persons with disabilities (PWDs), and ILLC, which focuses on empowering PWD youth.
