Promoting an Inclusive Culture

Each individual's unique background, experience, and abilities are at the heart of our vibrant workforce and truly reflect the communities we serve. We strive to build a diverse and inclusive culture where our employees feel valued and respected as individuals. We also work closely with diverse local businesses encouraging new points of view, spark innovation, and ultimately contribute to making a positive impact on communities.

Fostering a diverse & inclusive workplace

Group of sodexo employees sitting at a table and listeningDiversity and inclusion are the cornerstones of our culture and a fundamental component of our overall growth strategy. We create healthy work environments for our employees, so they can bring their whole selves to work regardless of their gender, sexual orientation, disabilities, age, or ethnicity. Our SoTogether platform allows female employees in Sodexo to pursue career aspirations without fear of gender bias and training programmes are available in most Sodexo markets to give people with disabilities a healthy head start at the workplace.

Promoting diversity & inclusion in our communities

Our local partnerships contribute to the social fabric of the communities, regions, and countries where we operate. We actively seek to bring diverse businesses into our network of suppliers, including minority-owned, women-owned, and disabled-owned companies.

We are committed to making a positive impact in local communities from supporting social entrepreneurship projects for underprivileged women to supporting causes that move the needle on diversity. This year, we commemorate the International Women's Day with various activities including the relaunch of SheWorks, a job shadowing programme, reaching out to women in vulnerable situations within local communities and providing them with opportunities to learn more about opportunities available, so that they may work towards an independent livelihood.
