Today, around 1 in 9 people worldwide suffer from hunger – that’s 821 million people every single day who aren’t getting enough to eat.

SERVATHON

Regardless of the fact that the world produces enough food to feed everyone, hundreds of millions of people still go without food.  Therefore, the best way to better people's lives and keep them out of a vicious cycle is to end hunger.

Sodexo sponsors an annual Servathon in support of Stop Hunger in partnership with Virlanie Foundation, to help people and end world hunger by addressing the different variables that affect food security. Additionally, we actively take part in policy discussions that affect our activities.   Sodexo aims to uplift the living standards of the people in the communities that we serve.  We have implemented food drives that have not only made a difference in the society's hunger issues, but they have also inspired people to give food and other helpful products to the neighbourhood.

Stop Hunger

This year, Sodexo Philippines held a Servathon event in support of the Virlanie Foundation’s  community in Makati City. We are immensely proud of our team's collaborative efforts to improve the community's quality of life, which offers sustainable programmes for underprivileged families. Sodexo Servathon called on staff, partners, and clients to donate their time, talents, and resources in support of the company's commitment to improve people’s quality of life.
