Erika Dalangin's Story
I told myself that growth doesn’t happen in comfort zones. I was motivated not just to do the job, but to grow, to prove to myself that I could rise to the challenge.
That decision shaped my journey.
I was given the opportunity to lead the deployment of the Zero Harm Mindset (ZHM) Program across Asia Pacific Middle East and Africa (APMEA). It became more than just a project; it became a purpose. I trained around 55 facilitators across different territories, ensuring that each one could deliver the program consistently and meaningfully.
For me, Zero Harm is not just about safety protocols. It’s about people.
It’s about helping others believe that zero harm is possible; because safety protects not just employees, but their quality of life, their families, and their future.
Beyond my role, I am also a wife and a mother to two beautiful children. My youngest is on the autism spectrum, and that has shaped me in ways I never imagined. It has taught me patience, resilience, and a deeper kind of strength.
Balancing work and family isn’t always easy—but it has given me clarity on what truly matters.
Looking back, I realize that I didn’t need to have all the answers when I started. I just needed the courage to take that first step.
Today, I continue to move forward with purpose, with heart, and with the belief that growth is always possible.
Because as women, our strength is not just in what we achieve but in how we rise, adapt, and keep going.
