When I joined Sodexo Philippines as a Marketing, Communications, and Engagement Manager for a global strategic account, I found myself stepping into a whole new world. Suddenly, I was immersed in a space where food wasn’t just about sustenance - it was strategy, culture, and care wrapped into one. I quickly saw how Sodexo delivers quality-of-life services on a global scale, crafting experiences that go far beyond what's on the plate. Through this account, I learned how food programs - rooted in sustainability, plant-forward values, and creativity - could impact everything from employee well-being to environmental change. It wasn’t just about feeding people; it was about bringing them together, helping them thrive, and building vibrant communities in workplaces around the world.

More Than a Meal: Purpose in Every Plate

Every food space I encountered had an intention behind it. Global culinary teams worked hand-in-hand to design menus that inspired healthy choices, reduced waste, and created moments people could look forward to. With every new project, I realized how food could be a connector - a catalyst for belonging, well-being, and a lasting positive impact. It became clear that Sodexo’s values were not just on paper but lived out daily in kitchens, pantries, cafés, and conference rooms across the globe: care deeply, act boldly, and inspire change.

From the Philippines to Southeast Asia: Growth on a Regional Stage

My journey took a truly global turn, as my role expanded from leading initiatives in the Philippines to collaborating with teams across Singapore and Vietnam. Working with multicultural teams, learning from their perspectives, and adapting communication strategies across markets became an incredibly enriching experience. This growth was fueled by trust and mentorship from remarkable leaders like Alicia Budihardja and Rohan Kichlu, whose guidance expanded both my confidence and my capabilities.

A New Chapter: Leading with Purpose Back Home

Now, I’m stepping into a new role as Marketing Head at Sodexo Philippines Head Office - an opportunity that fills me with both purpose and gratitude. Surrounded by incredible local leaders and under the guidance of our Managing Director, Paul Debaprateem, I’m excited to amplify the impact we create in our market. Drawing from my regional experiences, I’m committed to showcasing how Sodexo’s services are creating lasting value across industries - and how our people make it all possible.

A Moment to Celebrate: Leadership, Gratitude, and Growth

I’m deeply grateful for the opportunities Sodexo has given me to grow, lead, and have my voice heard. This company truly stands by its commitment to fostering career development and empowering individuals at every level. I’ve been fortunate to be part of a culture where collaboration and support are at the heart of everything we do, especially among women who lift each other and lead with empathy.

In my new role, I’m eager to take on even more transformative challenges - leading bold campaigns, crafting innovative strategies, and continuing to put people at the center of everything we do. With purpose as my guide, I look forward to shaping the future with a focus on impact and growth.
